Internal plastering started

My workers have started plastering the internal wall of the 3rd. Floor and is halfway through. For the external wall, I am leaving the wall bare without any finishes. I intend to plant climbers which will eventually cover up the entire external wall. The climbers will be placed in pots on the 1st. floor gutter which will have about 2 inches of water all the time to 'irrigate' the climbers. So, watch out for this novelty. My workers are supposed to start fixing the cement boards today but was delayed due to some problem with the electric screw driver.

creepers may be good aesthetically, but i think harry has written in his blog saying that climbers:
1. provide some easy spiderman for thieves
2. is habitat to ants and insects which may cause your BH to be filled with unwelcome crawlers, hence Birds feel threatned
3. cavities may cause growth of "wild-trees" through airborne seeds and these wild trees may have mighty roots and cause problem to your successful BH.

i too am building a BH in pahang and is happy with plastered wall and perhaps a coat of weathershield paint.
