may I know what are the structural loadings of roof slab and floor slabs ?
K.L,
The cement board sits on the 2" x 4" red meranti timber spaced 2'0" apart. Besides acting as nesting plank also it acts as joist and used to transfer the load of the cement board to the RC beams. The 2" x 4" timber struts also spaced at 2' 0" cnetres act to strengthen the joists. The joists are laid on top of the RC beams. The roof slab is meant to accomodate a pool of 8" water and to improve the strength I will add a 2 1/2'' RC slab reinforced with a layer of BRC No. A6. The floor will be for traffic of less than 4 person at any one time.
Real light weight then. Thks.
