Work resumed on the ground beam

The weather has been kind today. Though there are intermittent drizzles today, my workers still can work. They have started to place the reinforcement bars and links into the formwork. They have also chopped off the fallen tree and repair the formwork that was slightly knocked out of position. There is a minor landslide on the opposite bank of the stream but this does not pose any danger to the site.



Though the rain has stopped, many places in town were flooded and a few roads were impassable to traffic. This years rain seems to be the worst in 20 years. Some areas were flooded already 4 time this year. In Cerong Lanjut, the affected houses were covered with mud after the flood because of indiscriminate cutting of slopes by the contractor plus lax supervision by the consultant for a town park project on top of Bukit Pak Apil.
